Psychotherapy Modalities Consult

I will have a 30 minute conversation with you about the various styles of psychotherapy available for the healing of trauma, anxiety and depression. Everyone responds and heals in differing ways and there are questions to sort out. For example: Do you want a deep relationship with your therapist? Do you prefer talking or something more symbolic like art therapy? Are you aware of the different therapies out there that help regulate the nervous system and connect you to your body? Are you interested in working with different parts of the self to resolve conflict? With the knowledge that not all therapist might know how to hold your vulnerable material and help pace you, how do you choose one? What are the local resources available to you? I will help you narrow down what can be a daunting and overwhelming decision to make.

Training & Qualifications

I am a counseling psychology graduate student at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. After having spent the past few years in therapy healing complex post traumatic stress and studying psychology in depth, I learned a lot about what is available to people.
