The popularity of "Doodles" and other grooming intensive dog breeds make this skill especially important for those who have these wonderful dogs in their family.
We will provide expert instruction in the following fundamentals:
How to select the best grooming tools for your specific pet.
A walk through of the professional bathing and drying practice that will help you gain a greater understanding of the grooming process and the work it entails.
Proper brushing and combing technique
Gentle dematting and deshedding methods
Safe and proper way to cut canine and feline toenails.
You will be practicing on real pets in a our grooming salon.
We all want our pets to be healthy and looking their best--buts there's a practical reason to learn too:

Training & Qualifications
Angie: I have been professional grooming for sixteen years; the last four as the owner of an upscale neighborhood grooming salon. I graduated from the Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology in 2000. I also attend many continuing education seminars and classes to further my professional mastery
Jason: I am a certified Bather/Brusher. I have learned to majority of my knowledge from Angie.
Availability & Preferences
Our shop is quite busy when we are open for business (Tues-Sat).
Ideally, this would be a Sunday class about 3-4 hours long.
