I will identify strengths and weaknesses in your application documents and can even assist with custom tailoring your resume or CV to a specific job positing. As an educator at post-secondary institutions, this is a primary job responsibility, which I thoroughly enjoy. In addition, my personal Curriculum Vitae has a 98% response rating from employers contacting for interviews. I built a career services office at one two-year institution, where the primary focus of the office was on resume building and perfecting, tailoring application documents to specific job postings with keywords or phrases, as well as mock interviews. I have nearly a decade of experience in this arena, as well as having consulted for a number of small-business startups and started multiple small businesses of my own that are all still operating with a current average age of five years. Training & Qualifications
I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Business & Economics at a local four-year university, which has been around for 150 years. There's something about those old, historic institutions that they never lose their grandeur. My educational background includes both a B.S. and a B.A. in Business and Economics, respectively, as well as an M.S. in Accounting. Besides having been an educator and entrepreneur for nearly a decade, I have a number of years of experience in both the public and private sector having worked as a Financial Administrator and Business Office Director for local businesses, as well as an Auditor for the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have also held a real estate license for a number of years.
