I can build, wire, plumb, and/or fix many things. From very large to extremely small jobs, and especially things of an artistic nature, I'm willing and able to help. I've built houses, repaired gates, fences, windows, doors, and many common objects found around the home. Installing new fixtures, fittings, and faucets is well within the scope of my abilities. I am also familiar with drywalling as well as finish carpentry. I'm open to solving simple or very complex problems.

Repairs, painting, interior and exterior issues, and a myriad issues are able to be solved with determination, knowledge, and often some creativity. In many cases, I am open to finding new solutions to problems, or to trying alternative techniques to solve a problem or to correct a situation.

I have some tools, which I can bring. Please don't hesitate to contact me.

Training & Qualifications

I've built houses, can operate most power tools with skill, and have a strong understanding of most building methods. In cases where I don't know how to approach or solve a problem, I am humble, and will ask for help.

I have multiple degrees in engineering, and I take pride in the things I create. I would not craft something of low quality.

Availability & Preferences

I'm available almost any time.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About James Schultz

First, be kind to yourself and others. Second, each of us is a lens through which the universe learns about itself. Hence, the kindness we share with others is what defines the limits of what we... believe ourselves to be, and what we believe to be possible. I'm an engineer, a professor, a scientist, a carpenter, a craftsmen, an electrician, a veteran, and a wild-man. I can add. Sometimes I make jokes. I can and like to fix and build all variety of things. From Earthships to energy systems, from Indiana to India, from this age to the future, I'm willing and comfortable traveling to everywhen and everywhere to do any and everything. Let us begin. No problem is insoluble. Together the once impossible transmutes into realistic, then to real, and then to easy. I've operated, maintained, and repaired nuclear reactors, set broken bones, given stitches, rescued animals, built engines, given lectures, corrected exams, fed babies and the infirm, coded websites, swam with tiger sharks, lept from planes, and ventured into the universe of the mind. I'm interested in creating green alternates to living and animal friendly situations, in cultivating circumstances in which all sentient things can and do thrive, and in holding spaces for compassionate, intelligent discoveries into the human condition. It does not improve one's situation if another is experiencing harm, suffering, or pain. I look forward to adventures both micro- and macroscopic, to challenges tiny and titanic, and to laughter with soon-to-be friends. Best, JDSshow more
