I am not fully licensed yet but I do hair and makeup almost through schooling
I always enjoy helping out others in my community and I love to trade services. I think simbi is an amazing community. In today's economy it isn't always the easiest to budget in all of the luxuries we deserve and simbi gives us a way to do that with the skills we already have instead.
I am currently working security overnights. Although my main passion is in makeup and hairstyling. I have 850 hours of in school training and client work out of the required 1500 in the state of tx. ... Although I do have over 1000 hours in hair services outside of school. I still have several clients I provide my services for every week. I am a traveling stylist. I hope to return to school to finish my certification as soon as I gain the opportunity to take the time to dedicate myself fully again. Until then I continue to learn every chance I get either from observation or private lessons. I started really discovering my love for makeup about a year and a half ago. I was always interested but never thought I could learn until someone helped me realize to pursue every passion you have! So since then I have been constantly learning new techniques styles and becoming better every day. I started with just myself practicing several times a day. Then as I started acquiring more brushes and professional products I began to just do makeup for family and friends pretty soon after that I posted pictures and had several requests for me to come do their makeup. I can do no makeup-make up , everyday casual makeup, high-fashion /night makeup , and bridal looks as well. I have also taken private lessons from other artists as well. I have done clients for birthdays,proms,date-nights, and groups for parties. I hope to continue to grow as a stylist and artist with the help of my community! show more
