This update is in response to some copyright and usage questions I have received.

- I require that I keep the copyright for my work. This is primarily because, since my name and brand are attached to the article, I have an interest in how my work, knowledge, and skill is portrayed. It represents both my business and myself. Giving up copyright makes managing that more of a hassle than I am willing to do here. Instead of giving you copyright, I will give you what is called a commercial usage license, so that you can post it on your public website for as long as you wish.

- For the same reasons, any editing that you require needs to be done by me, or approved in writing. The final version that gets posted on your website needs to be exactly the final version that we agree to at the end of our deal here.

- The other reason that I retain my copyright is that I do not allow my work to be reproduced for profit. You cannot, in part or in full, reproduce anything that I create for you in any form. This includes any emails that you send out, any books or e-books that you write, written quotes, presentations, webinars, or posting to any other websites. This also includes any social media postings that you make, except to promote the article itself.

If at some point in the future you would like to use my work in some other form or website, this can easily be negotiated later or added on to our deal here. I generally won't even charge extra for another website. However, the same rules apply.
