Advice for new parents

I have raised 2 step kids, still raising 2 of my own, and raised my nephew. I guess you can say I've learned a few things along the way, and I'd love to offer my personal advice.
Training & Qualifications
Mother of a 6 and 18 month old
Step mother of a 12 and 17 year old
Raised my 10 year old nephew until he was about 4
Younger kids are who I have the most experience with.
Availability & Preferences
All evenings except Thursday
