About Heather Jo Flores
I've spent my life doing all sorts of awesome stuff to help the planet and to help humans live more sustainably. I started the original chapter of "Food not Lawns," back in 1999, and penned the book by that name in 2006. I've been a tree-sitter, a street-marcher, a permaculture educator, a mural painter, a traveling musician, and an impassioned, geeked-out organic seed-saver.
And the more I've learned, the more I've come to believe that women's stories, OUR stories, are at the center of any hope for humanity. Now I am dedicating my professional life to helping women find the time, space, and support to raise up your voices and share your beautiful, valuable, and very important stories with the world.
Tell your story. It matters. From there, the path unfolds. No matter what you struggle with, no matter where you are in life, your story is one thing that is uniquely, powerfully yours, and it is the portal through which you can unleash your magic!
My mission is help women find the time, space, and support to write your stories and get them out into the world. I offer coaching, community, and a series of online courses.
I also run a guild for Permaculuture Women, offering courses and a huge international network.
