While I am certified to teach in five instructional areas, I currently teach third grade with an emphasis on culturally relevant pedagogy, trauma-informed strategies and educating for social justice.

My work is all about communicating- with students and parents, with teachers and administrators, and with the broader community. I developed my interpersonal communication skills through coaching (academic/professional/social/emotional) a diverse group of teens and adults and participating in professional development around the nation.
