Everyone has programming acquired without consent. TV ads, family influences, traumatic events. The sub-conscious takes cues from the environment, writes code for how to respond in each situation. But they aren't always written with our conscious goals in mind.
For instance, Being a toddler and receiving a $50 bill. The family - our first "Ultimate Authority" - swoops in and takes it from the child, saying, You can't handle this yet. The child's sub-conscious writes a line of belief code "Can't handle/keep money". This haunts us thru our life - Our subconscious causing us to give up any money we acquire as soon as it can so it can fulfill this personal "truth". So, we go in and change this "truth", this belief, to one that helps us towards our goals.
