I will either surface edit (fix grammar and spelling) or talk to you about it in depth.
Usually, in a session, you would have to figure out what I should focus on while editing your paper (diction, grammar, sentence structure, paragraph structure, flow, etc.) and we would go through your paper, not just editing the one thing that you specified, but paying special attention to it. (probably on Skype)
Make sure that if the paper that you bring to the session was given as an assignment that you bring all the material related and have in mind what the teacher/instructor expects from the assignment.

I'm worked as a writing tutor at Fort Hays State University for 2 1/2 yrs. now.
