About Gabriel Choy

I started my professional career in photography in 1997 after graduating from Art Institute of Seattle (AIS). Since then, I have been traveling throughout Washington, Oregon and Vancouver BC area;, wo...rking with numerous amounts of models from various modeling agencies as well as local designers, retailers, boutique shops, salons, hairstylists, makeup artists, entertainment companies and various fashion events/communities. I also attended and worked with many of the regional fashion events such as being a runway photographer, in such: Seattle Fashion Week, NYFA show, Van BC Fashion Week, Portland Fashion Week, Crave Party, Arena Fashion Show and many more fashion events from large to small scale productions. By attending all these events, I learned more about aspects and concepts of capturing photography, then incorporating all of these observations and elements, skills and tricks, and implementing the into photography with the style that is edgy. I then created my photographer name as GOBO Photography to make a long lasting impression of my work. I started Seattle Fashion Week in 2003 with the purpose of helping to promote local talents, such as designers, models, makeup artists, hair stylists, entertainers, performers and to bring fashion enthusiasts to come together from the Northwest area as well as outside the region.
