American Sign Language/Deaf Studies
27
I am a certified sign language interpreter and have a passion for continuing to educate others in ASL and Deaf Culture, no matter what level of knowledge or skill you may find yourself at. I not only create very personalized lessons for individuals but can give wonderful tips on how to engage and foster the principle foundation points of ASL with everyday items and events that are all around us or in your home. Importantly, I would love to be a resource for Deaf culture information. This can include the minimum of what does being Deaf mean? How do I interact with a Deaf person? All other questions you can think of as well! Learning American Sign Language is not only cognitive, artistic, analytical and enjoyable but gives you the power to communicate with a community that many of us do not realize are amazing, open, intelligent and our own neighbors.
