50

50 per package - Virtual OK - Posted Jun 19, 2017

As a licensed attorney and published author I've edited hundreds of documents for grammar, flow, persuasiveness, citation checking and word choice to ensure effective written communication. I'm happy to review and edit any type of English language document and would be particularly excited to edit thesis and dissertation papers.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About Erin Bevel

Erin's passion lies in the eradication of injustice. Blending her experience and talents, Erin takes an interdisciplinary approach to create solutions. Erin has successfully utilized artistry, law, vo...ice, speech, the written word, analysis, promotion, legislation, storytelling, research, coalition building, networking, community organizing and bridge building to accomplish her goals and those of her clients. Of particular concern to Erin are the following criminal justice laws and policies: Sentencing: A published author on federal sentencing law and policy, Erin believes that sentences must address each offender individually and provide opportunities for growth instead of mere punishment and retribution. Prisons: One of Erin's most rewarding experiences as a Crime and Justice Minor at the University of Michigan was teaching creative writing to adult prisoners. Erin believes that a truly rehabilitative prison system, where prisoners have opportunities to empower themselves, is the only way to truly tackle insistently high recidivism rates. Felony Disenfranchisement: Current felony disenfranchisement policies keep prisoners trapped upon their release and stifle opportunities for change, growth and productivity. Felony disenfranchisement policies must be narrowly tailored to accomplish reasonably articulated goals in particular offenders, as opposed to blanket policies subjecting all felons to somehow be wholly non-deserving of the rights afforded to other U.S. citizens. Abolition of the death penalty: Erin is a staunch death penalty abolitionist. The expense and legal barriers to assuring truth in administering a death sentence make this policy one of our nation's longest-standing miscarriages of justice. Now is the time for death penalty abolitionists to collaborate and capitalize on increasing societal disapproval of the death penalty to end it.show more
