So often, money clutters our mind with worry and skews our concept of value. We cart it around and dirty our hands with it. We trade sunrises for it, and sometimes even the smiles of our children. We so easily forget... It's humans who are valuable. Not money. That's why I'm excited about Simbi.
I'm a mom, entrepreneur, and freelance writer. I like to throw parties, drink wine with friends, and drag my (introverted) artistic husband out to social events. (He secretly likes it.) I have three ...squirrely kids who love dancing to music and playing outdoors. Every night we snuggle up and create new stories with our imaginations. (The Wiley Adventures of Pickle, Pumpkin & Butter Bean.) Out of all things in the freelance world, I enjoy editing most. I've had several years of experience with publications, online and print, and I find great satisfaction in taking the words that someone wrote, reaching into their mind, and then re-writing what they said... into what they *meant* to say. I love bringing clarity in that way. Clear communication is key for any type of success - which is why I believe more people should hire editors.... Perhaps even for their personal lives (but I suppose that's what therapists are for.) I write mostly fiction these days, for my own enjoyment. I've had experience in ghostwriting, journalism, and content writing, but my passion lies in the fictional realm. show more
