I coordinate weddings and special events of all styles and budgets. In addition, I volunteer year round with Burning Man Portland, a large arts organization where I am a Regional Contact (Event Manager/Organizational Liaison). My skills include but are not limited to: general event production and event management, financial planning and tracking, strategic development, recruitent and retention, procedure and process development, volunteer coordination, and art grants coordination.
This past summer I left a wonderful company to become a stay at home mom and self-employed Special Events Planner. Most recently I was a full-cycle Recruiter (Recruiting Specialist) with Pacific Foods of Oregon (Pacific Natural Foods) where I recruited for an average of 30 open positions at a time in Tualatin, OR. I was responsible for full-cycle recruiting for all career levels across the company. I was honored and excited to be part of a stable and growing organization that first and foremost valued it's employees, to ensure that their food was of the highest quality, sustainable, and nourishing. I will miss it!
My recent experiences include Talent Acquisition Coordination at a large environmental consulting firm and cross-functional HR support and executive/administrative assistance with a start-up tech company. I'm all about whipping an organization into shape and constant growth or learning opportunities. I wear many hats and always seek opportunities to gain new skill sets.
