I was talking to an old friend the other day, and had started to say that I wasn't really the person to ask for relationship advice, when he cut me off, arguing that I really was, and I found that he was right. I'd been around, as they say, and had uncovered a thing or two (or tons) about love, friendship, and, sometimes most importantly, when to let go, attaining a fantastic relationship with my current boyfriend. It takes both experience and the type of mind which disects all it encounters to be an expert in something like relationships, and I have both of those things. In addition to that area, I am a bit of an expert in a few others, cheifly linguistics (the science of language, if you don't happen to know) and psychology, with knowledge scattered in various areas like other sciences, literature, politics, nutrition, religion, and a few others. I'm also told frequently that my attention to detail and explorative nature are refreshing in conversations with me. I love abstract concepts as well as the concrete, deep as well as shallow, and would be perfect for talking about everything from books, politics, and Heaven forbid (pun intended), religion to hair, clothes, and things like that. I'm someone who's done a thing or two, and love talking to strangers. I could prove to be a great help to someone trying to get over shyness, overcome challenges in confidence, or find a romantic partner (who is not me- I have a boyfriend) or friend (possibly me).
