Drawing and Animation Instruction
25
For an hour-long session, I will review a drawing, animation piece, or visual artwork of yours with you, in-person or via Skype. The art piece for review will be sent to me at least three days prior to the meeting. From there, I will apply years of educational and experiential knowledge to constructively critique the piece, via draw-over, re-draws or re-timing keys. During the in-person meeting, I will go over each part of feedback with industry-based reasoning as to why changes were or should be made.
I received my BFA in animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I have been working in worldwide creative freelance for brand including, but not limited to, Coca-Cola, General Mills, Target, and Marvel for the past four years. I have also been working full-time as an animator at a local creative studio for the past year. I want to start a conversation with local and up-and-coming artists about ways to succeed in their desired industry through their art, and what techniques can aid in achieving those goals.
With the guarantee of multiple sessions for a single artwork, or with the guarantee of repeat business for future artworks, the first meeting can be two hours for the same rate. If your piece is driven by a story or a script, I will happily provide feedback for those as well, as it pertains to the final visual product. Students welcome!
