Biology Tutoring
10
I'm currently a college student who makes pretty high marks. My specialties are in the fields of science. I currently tutor for St. Louis Community College for their Biology 111 course. I have education in basic genetics also.
I can cover the following:
The periodic table and how it relates to biology.
Taxonomy and classifications of species.
The parts of a cell.
Energy cycles in both plants and animals.
Mutation, migration (gene flow), genetic drift, and natural selection as mechanisms of change in evolution.
Lab advice including how to properly record data and how to use Microsoft Excel to express your data in graphs.
General tips for studying and taking exams.
Due to the fact that I am a student and I work 3 jobs I request flexibility in those I provide service to. However, I am very passionate about the science and I will do my best to help you understand the material and assist you in bringing up or maintaining a passing grade.
Training & Qualifications
I am employed by Saint Louis Community College at the South County Education and University Center. I passed the relevant course with A, and remain up to date with the current campus curriculum. I also read about various related subjects in my spare time.
