Ask a Nonbinary Person
10
I am a non-binary trans person, meaning I don't identify as a man or a woman. I love speaking to people about trans and nonbinary issues and my own personal experiences! I've been "out" as a non-binary trans person for 14 years. I have experienced many parts of life as a trans person, including dating, advocacy and activism, legal name change, hormones and gender therapy.
Maybe you have questions because you have a trans or nonbinary person in your life. Or perhaps you are questioning your own identity and could use some information or guidance.
If you need a quote from a trans or nonbinary person for a research project, publication, article, or school project, I can help you!
I will answer your questions via email or any text-based chat service (Simbi chat, Facebook messenger, Line, GChat, etc).
I will provide clear, candid answers that will help you in your understanding. If you are working on a research or journalism project, I will be sure to provide you with clear, quotable answers that will enhance your project.
Training & Qualifications
I've been "out" as a non-binary trans person for 14 years. I was assigned female at birth (ie., the doctors said, "It's a girl") and I began identifying as trans at age 16. I have written about trans topics for small and large media outlets and worked with trans children and adolescents. I am a trained sexuality and HIV educator.
