Girl Guide Camp Planning Session

I will have a voice to voice talk with you about planning your camp 2-10 day tent or bunk camp with Girls Guides or girls of similar ages. We can chat for about 1 hour, or maybe two 30 minute sessions that way you can take the first conversation back to your team and then come back to it with more thoughts, ideas and things to talk about.
Do you already have a theme in mind? Let me help you flesh it out and find ways to work in basic "camp skills" into your theme. I believe camp is about learning leadership, teamwork, independence and life skills; and about learning to build meaningful friendships with your peers and positive relationships with adults. I also believe is doesn't cost money to have a great time (it just costs money to book a space and buy food). Let's work together to plan the best-ever-camp!
Training & Qualifications
I am 20 years a Girl Guide leaders (girls ages 9 - 11 mostly). I also work with girls ages 12 - 18 in a Trex Girl Guide adventure unit. I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT CAMP! I have over 20 years of planning themes, menus, difference cooking styles, how to encourage independence, creating safe environments, allowing for adventure, and if you are doing Girl Guides in Canada, I know Safe Guide. I also have run a day camp at a local Nature Centre for the past 7 years for kids in grades K - 6.
