Debby Maziarz is an experienced arts leader, cultural facilitator and social entrepreneur. In 1996 she founded the Westside Circus, a highly successful community arts and cultural development organisation that is still standing strong today. In 2009 Debby won the SACS Consulting Not for Profit Leadership Award - Executive Leader for her personal contribution to the community arts sector. She was a finalist for the 2010 Telstra Victorian Business Women’s Awards in the White Pages Community and Government category and is a fellow of the 2011Williamson Community Leadership Program. In 2014 Debby received an Australia Council Executive Leadership Grant to investigate non-monetary exchanges and bartering systems in Greece. Debby recently co-founded Arts Barter Australia, a new bartering and exchange network for artists and social entrepreneurs. Debby's life changed dramatically when she joined the Women's Circus aged 16.
