In November 2013, while attending college at Southern Utah University, I began a traditional home birth apprenticeship with a Direct Entry Midwife. Over the following year I found a love and passion for supporting women's reproductive health. In November 2014 I attended a five week rotation at a high volume birth centered in norther Utah. I have attended 100 births in hospitals, birth centers and at home with more than 10 different midwives from hospital trained CNM's to licensed apprenticeship trained homebirth Midwives and unlicensed direct entry midwives. I love to attend births as a montrice, the primary basis of my philosophy is to support women endlessly through their unique journeys.
