I love gardening - the homesteading, permaculture movement is fascinating to me. We have a few fruit trees, and lots raised garden beds... maybe getting chickens soon. My family is super important to me, I love the simple life and am a homebody at heart. I grew up in Cape Town and miss the beach, mountains and weather and of course my family. I'm inspired by people who make a difference in social justice issues through personal relationships that are equitable and full of regard. My best experiences have been with my family making friends with people who are different than us and can teach us what we don't know about other parts of the world and perspectives on the world around us.
