Line Dancing Lesson: The Basics

30

30 per unit - - Posted Jul 06, 2017

I will teach you the basics of Country Western Line Dancing--the basic steps and movements which comprise the majority of line dances--and a single line dance which incorporates most of those basics. By the end of this lesson, you will be able to recognize and perform: a grapevine, a shuffle step, a pivot turn (half and quarter), a rock step, a coaster step, a hip bump, and a kick ball change.

Training & Qualifications

I am an avid line dancer at the Graduate in San Luis Obispo. Having danced there since 2009, you will find me there almost every Thursday and Saturday night still. Line dancing is only the latest incarnation of my passion for dance, but I have been dancing my whole life: the first time I was on a dance floor, I was only two-weeks old! Though, I'll admit, my mother lead the footwork back then.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About David Brian Berlin

I was born in the year Disney's Aladdin was released on the day Disneyland first opened it's doors! (I'll let you do the research and math for my age ;)) I am very passionate about technology; while I... can't always afford the newest gizmos and gadgets, I am always intrigued by what our science has to offer and am oft found pushing the limits of what my own gizmos can do. My main form of recreation is dancing. Almost every Thursday and Saturday night you can find me at the Graduate in San Luis Obispo, a local restaurant and bar that hosts various themed dance nights. Thursdays and most Saturdays are Country Line Dancing: my personal favorite!show more
