About Darian Wiley

Allo! I'm Darian, an eclectic personality with a lot of varied interests. Generally I've wandered through life learning and doing things that held my interest as much as is possible while doing my bes...t impersonation of a responsible adult. My career has included everything from major events coordination for non-profit groups to being a licensed private investigator. My private interests have mostly been about the arts, health and ideas. As an example, I've written reams of poetry and short stories, spent 15 years in choir during school, adored improvisational acting classes, learned to cook pretty well, dabbled in costume/clothing design, studied French for 8 years, learned to swing dance, studied behavioral and neurological psychology and cultural anthropology (focusing on folklore and ritual) for my degrees, took a class on race car driving, learned to smith silver while working for Ren Faire , can build wooden furniture and have a fascination with practical and theoretical physics. I was a licensed massage therapist (due to a change in regulations I need to re-certify). Touch therapy can really make a difference in a person's life and I truly recommend it. Wanted to be a research assistant on location studying foreign culture, but education cutbacks have limited employment opportunities. Formerly an executive administrative assistant - to pay the bills. I'm very good at it, but it is not my passion. Currently a licensed private investigator and work in information security. Charity work is a passion of mine and am frequently involved in volunteer projects. Currently coordinating on a web-zine project and character design for a future RPG video game on the side.
