An intellectually driven musician, and human resources specialist; with experience in marketing, and adult education, Daniel Wilkerson is a highly dedicated public servant, focused on providing jobs to underprivileged individuals within low income communities throughout Chicago land. Daniel is goal oriented, and spends each day tackling logistic issues, and building bridges between Illinois Department of Human Services clients, and workplaces.
Serving the community in many respects, Daniel has volunteered with organizations including: habitat for humanity, the animal welfare league, The Salvation Army, and smaller community based clubs and organizations.
When not working in these aforementioned capacities, Daniel is often cultivating his skills as a performing violinist. Starting at age three, Daniel began taking violin lessons, ultimately studying through college, and holding positions with orchestras such as The Chicago Classical Symphony, The Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, The South Loop Symphony, and chamber ensembles. Daniel seeks to continue his musical education through performing, and sharing his talent through teaching.
