About Daniel Sanabria-Morales

After serving for four years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, traveling across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America, and majoring in International Studies and Humanities, I b...ecame a passionate advocate of bridging cultural gaps through effective communication at the linguistic level. I am fluent in Spanish and French, and I am currently teaching myself Korean. I transitioned from an in-house Spanish translator position in the health insurance industry in order to concentrate on creating a new type of linguist, one that approaches translating and interpreting from one language to another as a science and an art. I recognize that translation and interpreting are separate industries that share many common traits useful to each other. However, the new type of linguist I envision (a “Transmith”, following the pattern of professionals that work their unique trade, such as blacksmiths or locksmiths) will use the synergy of both fields to create the best of both worlds.
