Viruses can be tricky. Sometimes its as simple as installing Antivirus or updating your existing, and scanning until it's gone. Other times it requires a complete wipe of the hard drive. My goal would be to at least get you to a place where you were able to use the computer again, but also educate you against attack vectors viruses love to use. Mitigation, eradication, and education.
I have many tricks up my sleeve and have had great success for people that have come to me in the past. I currently have about 20 clients that see me from year to year depending on their needs. If you currently own a Windows machine, be warned that I may let you know about the joy of owning a Mac. I'll be gentle however and will respect your wishes. Ultimately, my goal is to get you up and running as fast as possible and determine if there was any threat to your personal information.

I have been breaking computers for 23 years and fixing them for 17. I have a Bachelor's in Information Technology and I'm currently working towards completing my MBA. I work for a company that specializes in Enterprise IT.
