About Cristina Markiewicz
Dr. Markiewicz is affectionately known as Dr. Tina. Dr. Tina states, "One of the most fulfilling things about being a dentist is combining art and science using my hands and mind to help create confidence and self esteem in others. I love the one to one relationship that I have with my patients as we discuss a treatment plan that will provide them with the best possible dental care for a healthy mouth."
Dr. Tina has a passion for helping others and has worked to benefit many local and global philanthropic organizations. She started the first American Cancer Society Relay For Life at California Lutheran University in 2011 and has continued to support their organization by volunteering for many of their events. Dr. Tina has helped the homeless population by working with the San Francisco Department of Health to organize University of the Pacific’s clinical component to treat their oral surgery needs at the Project Homeless Connect events. She also organized University of the Pacific’s Annual Give Kids A Smile events thereby helping hundreds of children get oral hygiene instruction, cleanings and dental exams. Dr. Tina is a regular volunteer with the California Dental Association CDA Cares Events where thousands of underserved receive much needed dental care. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry as well as the Westlake Junior Woman’s Club.
Aside from providing her patients with high-quality dental treatment and education, Dr. Tina’s interests include baking, cooking, and traveling. She also prides herself on being an amateur animal balloon artist. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
