I'm a violinist, vocalist and music teacher. I started playing violin when I was in middle school and quickly knew it was what I wanted to do for life. I struggled against my socioeconomic status and became a first-generation college graduate with degrees in music and psychology. But despite graduating at the top of my high school class academically, it wasn't easy for me to obtain a degree in violin performance without having ever been able to afford private violin lessons. That's why I recently started Johnson Kintner Music, a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching EVERY student who wants to learn an instrument—whether they can afford it or not. I'm excited about Simbi because it is another way to make classical music and music education accessible to all.
On Simbi I offer violin event music and lessons on the five instruments I teach: violin, viola, piano, voice and guitar. I'm also here to provide quality violin music for special occasions like wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties and corporate banquets.
