I can provide instruction in writing skills, techniques, and concepts. Also, I can provide instruction on understanding literature and writing about literature including research methods. This includes all levels of Writing from basic to advanced including brainstorming, organization methods, research, format/citation styles, and Editing. In regards to literature, every type of literature from the Traditional English and American cannon (Shakespeare, Dickens, Old and Middle English, American Realism and Romanticism, Gothic, etc.) to Multicultural and Transnational Literature (Indian, Caribbean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Post-Colonial). Training & Qualifications
B.A. in English: English Language and Literature (2006)
Research included extensive knowledge of both World War I and II literature/culture. The disillusioned writers of this time period.
M.A. In English: Multicultural and Transnational Literature (2009)
Research in Post-Colonial works with emphasis on Caribbean and Indian literature, particularly Salman Rushdie.
College/University level English instructor since 2007.
