Hour Long CAD/CAM Lesson

I will help you get familiar with CAD or CAM at any level you are. From simple sketches to complex assemblies and FEA stress analysis. I can teach you SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Mastercam, HSMWorks, Inventor, and more. The choice is yours. Introduction CAD lesson will start with basics:
-Parametric Sketching
-Extruding from sketch
-Revolving from sketch
-Material selection
Advanced lessons for CAD will be determined on a case-by-case basis after getting to know you better.
Introductory CAM lesson for beginners will include basics of 2D milling toolpaths, tooling selection, importing various solid models. Knowledge of CAD is not required but I highly recommend you take one lesson in CAD with me prior to this lesson because we will be using sold models to apply toolpaths.
Advanced CAM lessons will include 4th axis, lathe w/live tooling, 5th axis, or 3D countouring.
For advanced CAM you must be already familiar with 2D CNC operations, G code, and Solid modeling.
Training & Qualifications
I am a senior mechanical engineering student with over 7 years of expierence in machining both manual and CNC. I also have my CNC Programming Certificate from De Anza College.
Availability & Preferences
Free on weekdays from 5PM-10PM PST. Weekends are case-by-case.
