I have had my hands on a computer since I was 4 years old. Over the last 30 years I have explored whatever aspects of technology have intrigued me. Before there was the internet, I had a BBS. Before t...here was Dell, I was building my own computers. Before there was Geek Squad, I was making house calls to install hard drives as a local freelance computer repair guy. I love technology. I have always been drawn to information technology. I have a passion for making things work and figuring out why they don't sometimes work properly. Originally, I just wanted to build computers for a living ultimately. But then I learned about GSM and CDMA cellular technology working for Verizon Wireless and then I learned about circuit switched networking supporting DSL and T1 lines for Bell South. Then, I learned about RF and wireless and satellite networking working for the military. At this point, I want to be in the networking field. After spending a few years in the Middle East and still being able to keep in touch almost daily with my life back home I want to feel the satisfaction of being able to connect people together around the world. I still love building computers and I enjoy troubleshooting problems and then I love being able to know exactly what to do the next time I encounter a similar problem. However, for as frustrating as technology can be sometimes, I am never more focused or content with my work as I am when I am problem solving and learning something new.show more
