About Charlie Hilliard

I'm a mother, wife, writer, and barista. I spend my days playing phone games, making lattes, and enjoying the writing of others. F. Scott Fitzgerald is my favorite author but I have a weak spot for Os...car Wilde. All in all, my days are full of Batman, my little boy, and the wonders of having a husband who doesn't like to read. I'm also a novelist working on my seventh book, although I'm not published currently. I've worked as an editor and have edited a devotional novel for publishing. I'm very much obsessed with the written word and would love to spread my love for writing with others! I've won journalism awards as well as a poetry scholarship and an award for one of my short stories. Right now I'm going to school part-time and work full-time with plenty of overtime. It's a busy life but I love it and am always looking for more to do. One of my passions is helping people, so simbi has helped me to fulfill that part of my life quite a bit with the manga requests as well as editing. I want to eventually write full-time instead of work a day job but that is several years away. For right now I'm working on my double majors and once that's done I'll do what I can to make my dreams come true.
