I've lived in Hawaii for over 7 years now and absolutely love it! I'm a nanny and photographer who also makes jewelry (mostly sterling silver and glass) and loves to do crafts. I have extensive experience with pet sitting and house sitting, as well. My newest adventure is that I've found a way to get scuba certified and go diving for FREE! WooHoo! I'm doing a work exchange program with a dive shop here on Oahu. I'm a "tank monkey" for one shift a week in exchange for my lessons and equipment. After a pretty horrendous health ordeal, it is exciting to be getting my life back and being active again.

I'm into the "crunchy" lifestyle and prefer to make as much as possible myself. I've been brewing kombucha for 10 years now. I also make sourdough and yogurt. If there is a way to DIY something, I've probably tried it (or want to try it!)
