I am a passionate and people-oriented social and political activist. I'm seeking opportunities in Denver, Colorado that would allow me to refine and expand my professional skills while implementing concrete change in the communities I serve.

As a writer, a witch, a feminist, a Girl Scout, and a former college newspaper editor, I like to think I have a little something in my skill set that anyone could benefit from.

I can't drive (terrible anxiety problems keep me from being able to at this point), so it does mean I have to get creative with scheduling or workin' that bus system here in sunny Denver. But I do love to work remotely and can do tarot readings and offer editing services quite easily online.

In my day job, my work as a community organizer lets me see the best and worst of people. Here on Simbi I'm happy to have found a part of the internet that seems to want to help highlight the best parts of people and the generous spirits we can all have when wanting to reach out, help one another, and build a community.

As far as what I'm looking for, Simbi seems to be a solution for my search to find affordable ways to help manage my chronic pain condition(s?), peripheral neuropathy, and my anxiety through massage, acupuncture, yoga, and other ways to treat myself :)
