Learn how to pitch your idea
25
I will teach you how to write and present your pitch to different audiences (i.e. Pitching to a potential client/customer, live audiences, potential sponsors and partners, etc.)
We will go over elevator pitches, 2 minute pitches and 5 minute pitches. We can also talk about how to create a PowerPoint to go with your pitch, body language when pitching, or any other needs relating to your pitch.
Training & Qualifications
In 2015 I was awarded first place in a pitch competition with over 20 contestants. There were two rounds. In the first round the audience voted in the finalists and in the second and final round, a panel of judges chose the winner.
In 2015 I pitched my start-up, Sayfespace, without having created a product/service yet, and received a monetary sponsorship.
In 2017 I pitched my start-up to an entrepreneurial incubator with over 100 applicants. The judging process was over the course of 2 full days. I presented at the end of the first day and was the only one to receive a round of applause and they said the pitch was the best they heard so far. My start-up got accepted.
I worked for the full year of 2016 as a regional manager for a residential painting company. One of my responsibilities was to canvass door-to-door and pitch our services to potential clients. By the end of the year I ranked in the top 3 as having the most estimates completed.
I have written pitches for several other projects, all which had positive feedback.
