Wedding Service Consultation

30

30 per session - Virtual OK - Posted Aug 31, 2017

I will talk with you (and partner, if available) via phone or in person about possibilities of a Wedding Service for 30 minutes.
I can help offer design ideas to service - (flow, time, interaction, photogenic possibilities, snag warnings, vows, symbols) as well as coach and instruct about various possibilities for larger friends, family and attending community to interact, if desired.
I have a lot of variety to offer in vow development and also with various interactive liturgical elements (candles, sand, unity 'rocks' etc.)
I will finish the conversation by sending a copy of the first draft of the service to the couple at a designated email address.

About Brian Cornell

I am a minister of United Methodist persuasion, and have also worked in life insurance, pre-school education, service industries and chemical development environments. I am a wonderfully not well-rou...nded-but-distinct individual who doesn't assume Jesus is the answer to all questions and am willing to ask / plead / yell at powers and principalities as is appropriate. I love weddings, ...good funerals too... and can make anything into a religious event. And I'm equally happy making religious events secularly available or understandable. I've studied the Upanishads, visited Hanuman's Temple , studied the Muslim religion with Prof. Seyyed Hossein Nasr . In short, I'm a redneck East Tennesseian multicultural who studies the life of an ancient Jew and teaches what he learns while trying to live what I learn. I'm also an avid cyclist, father of four boys, skier (water and snow), boy scout, learner of social history and collector of stories. I'm now in my 17 year of marriage (27th year of friendship with the same person) and we are still learning to like and love each other. I hike, cook, build, innovate, connect, introduce and write. My educations at Wake Forest and Duke university have served me well, but the education from the East Tennessee environment and mountains might be more important. I love poetry, novels, character development and music (new and old). I can sing loudly, love boldly and am open to learning and living in new ways. Finally, I have met people that I don't easily get along with, but haven't yet met anyone unworthy of love. I try to remember this, but also have a great team around me to remind me! show more
