Editing and Focusing an Essay

I can read over a first or second draft of your essay and can help refocus, restructure or simply edit your paragraphs and sentences, creatively. I specialize in papers about literature and social issues.
I enjoy researching new subjects, so if you have something that I have some prior knowledge of, I can do some legwork to help understand your subject better.
My general goal will be to take any sentences that may need rephrasing and touching them up with a creative flair. If necessary, I can also help formulate concepts for your thesis statements and the concepts developed in the corresponding paragraphs.
This is something I enjoy doing, especially for people who are driven to do their best, and want to put in the effort to see their work succeed. Naturally, this means I don't write the paper for you, but I know that sometimes an extra sentence, or rephrasing of another can spark just enough imagination to finish a paper.
Training & Qualifications
I have studied at Oakland Community College, and have taken composition courses. I generally did well on first draft papers. I've done this before and helped edit screenplays, and papers for friends, turning a B grade paper into an A. Also, I have worked in creative writing and will be finishing a first draft of a novel by the end of the year.
Availability & Preferences
Mondays and Thursdays all day. I will usually have time on Tuesday afternoons, and intermittently on weekends.
