About Bohdan Tomanek

I’m a geek at heart with a passion to learn new things. One of my favorite things to do is computer programming! I haven’t had any formal education in computer programming, most of what I know is thro...ugh self learning & hands on experience . I’m familiar with PHP, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, & have dabbled a bit with Python as well. I’ve also had experience with deploying Windows & Linux servers for Web, SQL, MySQL, PBX (Asterisk & FreePBX), Active Directory Domain, File Sharing, Email, & Minecraft. My day job is at a computer retail store in Athabasca Alberta as a technician. My duties include: Computer Diagnostics & Repair, Remote & On-Site Support, Network Administration/Management, Phone/Tablet Repair. And recently getting into drone building & repair. And aside from the technical stuff, some other things that I am interested in are: Mediation, Yoga, Reading, Business & Personal Development. In the world that we live in, it’s easy to forget to invest time & effort into yourself. Yet so necessary to ensure that you can give everything that you can. Lately I’ve been trying to adopt the motto: “Serve yourself to serve others.” And it is my hope that by doing so, I can help make the world just a little bit of a better place to be.show more
