Learn and Practice French!
40
Hiring a private tutor can be very expensive. For those who are struggling through a class or needing upper level help, this is usually worth it, but I often come across people who are beginners or travelers and curious about learning French. For them the expense of a private tutor or the inconvenience of a set class doesn't work for them. In the interest of education and spreading my love of French, I'd love to offer my knowledge in the language to you. Whatever level you're at, I can meet you there and tailor specific lessons for you, incorporating your personal interests along the way. I'm excited to try creative things online as well, so let me know your ideas!
Training & Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language and Literature from Portland State University. This year I'm joining the Master of Arts in Teaching cohort at University of Portland. I've tutored since 2013, and I've earned the "best of the year" award from Thumbtack for both 2015 and 2016.
Availability & Preferences
Evenings and weekends are usually the best, but let's not forget the power of online lessons! I'd love to meet you in person or virtually.
