My hobby and talent is learning, problem solving excites me, and I have a nearly unhealthy love of excel. I am a certified personal trainer, near-graduate of comp sci, and studied mechanical engineering technology.

In the last few years, fitness has become my passion. To improve my own results, I took a personal training certification course. While doing this, a few friends asked me for guidance starting their own fitness journeys - after seeing their progress, I decided to look at online distribution models for personal training.

Currently, I am working on starting my online personal training business, https://baril.co. It's very much a work in progress, with a tons to do before I am ready to launch - the website needs work, workout plans need creating, payment systems need setting up, social media pages need to be established, legal names need to be registered, and so on and so forth.

During the process of creating this business, I also came to a realization that many people starting their own fitness journeys expect to end up looking like instagram fitness models. This prompted me to start delving into photography - fact is, nobody looks like that... not without proper lighting and touch ups afterwards. I'm on the constant lookout for opportunities to practice this. Photography is very new to me, and although I'm good at researching (and by extension have relatively good theoretical knowledge), it's field work and actual practice that will get me to where I want to be. I hope to one day be able to take pictures of my clients, touch them up, and make them feel and look like the instagram models they admire and look up to.

I also plan on starting a twitch.tv stream in the near future with a friend of mine. Thanks to my varied hobbies, I have a prosumer level streaming setup, which I'm just itching to put into use!
