Personal addiction counseling

I will sit down and talk with anyone who is struggling with an addiction. Whether it be drugs, alcohol, eating, gambling, sex, etc. I will offer advice and, depending on how you feel about it, help you with the steps of getting into treatment. While I am not an officially licensed counselor, I am a former addict myself and have helped many people with their personal issues whether they be friends, acquaintances, or people who have come to me at the community center where I work.
I WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH DRUGS, NOR WILL I HELP YOU FIND THEM, EVEN IF YOU ARE IN WITHDRAWAL. I am here to help you take the first step in your recovery, not provide a temporary solution.
Training & Qualifications
I am A recovering addict with considerable clean time, active in my personal recovery, an AA and NA member, and I am employed at a community center. I know the detox and rehab system in and out and I know how daunting it can seem to someone seeking treatment for the first time. I'm a great listener and promise to do all I can to help you get the help you need, whatever that may be.
Availability & Preferences
Late afternoon, evenings, weekends. But I am flexible.
