Hi! I'm Barney. I would like to teach you to fly fish by experiencing it in the beautiful PNW. I have been a fly fisher for years. I strongly believe that one of the best ways to conserve our natural space is to build an economy around preserving it it rather than selling its parts. Fly fishing is s way to accomplish this.
My service would provide transportation in a convertible smart car to a practice location to solidify casting technique, and to go over river safety. Then we would ride to a location where we would get in the water, and start trying to hook into a Salmon or Stealhead. This would be 2 hrs of instruction, and 3hrs in the river.
Training & Qualifications
I have been an avid fly fisher for years.
I also work at the National Oceanic and Atmispheric Administration in Pacific Northwest salmon research.
Bachelors of Science in Natural resources University of Illinois.
