What Is Mindfulness Meditation
I will share with you what I have learned about mindfulness meditation and why it is so powerful. It is known for decreasing anxiety, combating depression and ADD, pain management, or simply cultivating a calm, happy mind.
I will guide you through a short sitting session in the Tibetan Shamatha-Vipassana tradition. Or, if you are an experienced meditator, we can just do a sit together.
Training & Qualifications
I practiced Tibetan style meditation for many years with the Shambhala organization, and participated in retreats. I studied sutras and other teachings. I attended a 3-day course in person with the Dalai Lama.
