Hello! I am a DIY crafter and fixer, a backpacker, a gear junkie, a nerd, and a good friend. In my spare time I am a water resources engineer.

I live in Carbondale, CO, a small mountain town 45 minutes north of Aspen. In the winter, I love to ski (downhill and touring), though my main winter sport is crafting. My biggest craft is my hand made cards. I also sew clothes, curtains, and various home accents. I also love to do all manner of new and creative projects (shelves, collages, dream catchers, you name it!). In the summer I love to hike, backpack, raft, and road bike ride. Last summer I hiked the Colorado trail with my best friend, and spent a few months backpacking in Chile and Argentina with my fiance. My fiance is also an engineer and outdoor enthusiast. We are getting married next August! I'm really hoping to get help with my wedding on Simbi - photography, decorations, ideas etc.

I am a perfectionist, and I get obsessively into projects. That's what's so cool about Simbi. I can share the skills that I am obsessively practicing and honing, have an opportunity to focus on and improve that skill, and all the while trading for other services!

I am also a serious extrovert. I sort of almost miss living in a city (I used to live in Denver). I am finding that Simbi is helping me find joy in making connections with my global community, while I work on making friends locally.
