I'm 36 years old and I have a professional degree as an administrative assistant. I have worked in many kinds of environments, such as the government, private and public sector, and also non-profit. I also wrote and published articles in a French newspaper about cultural events. I managed a translation business for over a year (until the owner took it down).
My native languages are French and English and I can work in either without the slightest problem. I do all kinds of writing, but my strength lies in creative and journalistic styles. I am an avid and fast learner and I love to explore and discover new challenges.
I am an avid classical music listener and I am trying (although as of late I've been busy with other things) to learn how to play the piano. So far I have only been able to learn by ear. I am also trying to compose my own music. I have one piece thus far that I rather like.
I love to read, most especially classic literature. I think that historical fiction written by others has very much inspired my own style of writing.
I'm currently working on a fantasy series with a long storyline and several main characters.
What more can I say? I love cooking new recipes and making delicious food for my family and friends, I love learning about different cultures, and I enjoy discovering new things every day. That's it! :)
