About Anne Zieger

I am a 51-year-old writer, crafter, and wanna-be adventurer with a passion for great books, food, music and friends. Loving the Simbi lifestyle. :-) I've already met some fascinating people here... and look forward to connecting with many more, from virtually any walk of life (as long as they're open to new things too!) I have no rules for friendship and sharing other than that people are warm, kind, curious and ready to try new things when the opportunity presents itself. And ok, since Simbi wants me to generate 1,400 characters for this section, I'll share the adventure fantasy I'm working to transform into reality. For some reason, I've always been in love with all things British -- at least since elementary school . Then, at age 19, I got to take a whirlwind tour of Oxford University, Stratford upon Avon, Stonehenge and a bunch of less famous sites including a cathedral dating to the Norman era. As you can imagine, that only inflamed my passions further. Now, later in life, my Anglophilia has only deepended as I've studied British medieval history. My goal, now, is to visit England for at least a few months and tour the great castles and cathedrals, then write a book that somehow crytallizes my feelings about these amazing historical monuments and shares the poetry and bloodshed and artistic wonder and spirituality that surrounds them.
