Canned goods make great Holiday gifts and there are items that can be canned all year long!
I will teach you basic procedures and safety guidelines for water bath or pressure canning and assist you with a batch of your desired recipe.
You provide produce and jars/lids. I can bring canning supplies if need be, but they are good things to have. I can assist with recipe selection if you don’t know what you want.
Depending upon the item being canned, you may be asked to do some prep work ahead of time.
Training & Qualifications
I have been canning for 15 years and have won MANY fair ribbons, including blue ribbons, for my canning. Pittsburgh public theater has even used my canned goods as props for their performance of Diary of Anne Frank.
